- Microwave humidified dirt mix to sterilize it and let it cool down
- Using a sharpie, identify Ziplock bags with palm type, date, etc…
- Add humid dirt to Ziploc bags (not too wet or the seeds will rot)
- Add seeds to bags
- For queen palm seeds, I have had better luck so far with orange seeds that just fell off the tree (as opposed to green seeds that I cut off the tree).
- Set the bags on a shelf at room temperature (they don’t need light)
- Wait from 1 to 6 months (no need to add water if you keep Ziplock bags sealed)
- Transplant germinated seeds to pots
